Dr. Hassan is a board certified physician specializing in internal medicine. He is the founder of Premier Internal Medicine Associates, PC. With extensive knowledge in internal medicine, Dr Hassan has been recognized by the NCQA for his excellence in diabetes management. He is passionate on patient education and preventive care for his patients. A native of Pakistan, Dr. Hassan graduated from King Edward Medical University and completed his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to starting his practice, Dr Hassan worked as a physician with Huntsville Hospital Physician Network, Athens-Limestone Hospital, North Alabama Hospitalists, and William Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT. When not practicing, Dr. Hassan enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Tracie joined Premier Internal Medicine Associates team in 2023!  Tracie holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  She brings with her 27 years of healthcare experience.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Nurse Practitioner

Octavia Russell is a double board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, certified by both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She provides comprehensive, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with a strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.

Octavia is a 2001 graduate of Horseshoe Bend High School in New Site, Alabama. She honorably served 15 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class in 2018. After transitioning from military service, she continued her mission of helping others through a career in healthcare.
